In June 2009, Hugo Spowers, a friend of The Chandos founder, had a London launch on the terrace of Somerset House, for a prototype hydrogen car.

Riversimple have created a two-seaters car, now available for hire, powered by hydrogen cells and capable of 300pmg (energy equivalent).
